The average driving lesson in the UK costs around £35, though prices can vary slightly by region. With most learners requiring approximately 45 hours of professional tuition, the average cost of learning to drive from scratch can exceed £1,600, not including additional expenses such as test fees and learner insurance.
Because learning to drive is a significant investment, it’s worth taking time to consider your budget and plan ahead before committing. We are always happy to discuss options and help you make an informed decision.
